Eggs!

This is it!

This is why we have chickens.  Beautiful, fresh, buttery eggs.

We saw production start to decline with the shorter winter days so we installed a small wattage bulb in the henhouse and set it to come on a few hours before sunrise.  This gives the girls enough additional “daylight” so they continue to produce.  We are regulary getting 15 eggs from the 18 chickens.  Yum!
